If you want to eat nearby, try Malo, which is situated 500 m away. Recommend this hotel. Useful base for a weekend in Des Moines.

We were able to visit court avenue that was close to the hotel. The breakfast was GREAT, as always. It took only 10 minutes to walk to Platform A bus stop.

Loyal staff, EXCELLENT breakfast. For dinner we chose Centro Restaurant, that was 300 metres from the hotel. Stay there and enjoy your Des Moines city break.
